School Uniform

At Chandlers Field Primary Academy  we pride ourselves in looking smart with our school uniform. Wearing uniform promotes a sense of community within the school and allows children to demonstrate their pride in their school, both within school and when they are out in the local community.

School uniforms are provided by Brigade and can be ordered online here.

We have an embroidered sew on/iron on badge* that is available to purchase from the school office to keep costs down and enable parents to buy school uniform from high street stores.  

Our School Uniform

• EYFS or KS1 - white polo shirt

• Black trousers or skirt

• Pinafore dress

• Navy jumper or cardigan

• Black shoes

• KS2 (Y3 upwards) - white shirt (long or short sleeved)

• KS2 School tie

• Black or navy tights

• Black or grey or white socks

• Blue check summer dress

PE Kit

• Plain black shorts or jogging bottoms

• Plain black or navy sweatshirt

• Round neck plain navy tshirt

• Plain black trainers

Swimming

• All in one swimsuit or close fitting trunks; please note long and baggy swimming trunks are not allowed for safety reasons

• Swimming Hat

• Goggles 

Jewellery, Hair & Make-up

Jewellery such as rings, earrings or bracelets are not to be worn to school. In pierced ears, a plain round stud may be worn but must be removed for physical activities (including dance, gymnastics and swimming). We allow children to wear watches but they remain the responsibility of the child at all times, however these should not be a smart watch For safety reasons, long hair should be tied back at all times. No extreme styles of haircuts or eyebrow shavings are allowed. Hair must be of a natural colour and not dyed. Make-up and nail varnish are not allowed to be worn at school at any time.

Religious Beliefs

If you would like your child to wear clothing or jewellery specific to a particular religious belief, please contact us to discuss potential issues of educational standards and security.

Second Hand Uniform

As well as the provider listed above, second hand uniform is available to purchase from the school directly.  Please contact us to discuss second hand uniform. 

The Friends of the school also sell second hand uniform at organised fairs e.g., Summer fair.
