Safeguarding Information
At Chandlers Field Primary Academy we adhere to all national and local polices in regard to Safeguarding Children and Young People. Chandlers Field is committed to gender, racial, religious and disability equality in every part of school life and is dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

The LEO Academy Trust Safeguarding and child protection policy is written in collaboration with all DSL's across the Trust. As such this is the policy we follow at Chandlers Field.
At Hurst Park The Safety And Welfare Of Our Pupils Is Of Utmost Importance.
All adults working in schools have a duty to protect children/young people from all forms of harm and abuse as set out in the latest version of ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ (2024).
The school’s policy and procedures also accord with:
- "Working Together to Safeguard Children” (HM Government, December 2023).
- ‘What to do if you’re worried a child is being abused’ (HM Government, March 2015)
